You wrote the piece with such a rare sensitivity and sensibility, that I felt compelled to share. A Firebird, senselessly downed over the chernozem - we are all wounded by this.

My mind has not been able to take in so much of the news lately. My heart goes out to the families of those affected by this tragedy, and others around the globe.
