This was a piece I didn't hear before – thank you. Of course like all the world before me his New World Symphony is such a thing of gentle genius?

If I recall, Dvorak found the New World not very much to his liking.

But, in the wake of the shipwreck of his journey, some rather stunning music was left floating.

In my imagination, I wonder sometimes if Dvorak and I might not have enjoyed a hike in the mountains together, where there is plenty of scope for eccentric characters.
